    Olá, pessoal! Hoje venho falar-vos da minha experiência com uma loja de perucas localizada nos EUA da qual recebi alguns produtos no final de 2019. Há algumas razões pelas quais eu demorei a fazer este review. Espero que compreendam. 

    Enquanto estava no Instagram, descobri a nunique_you. Após algum tempo, decidi contactá-los querendo saber se eles estariam interessados numa colaboração. Prontamente me responderam que sim, pediram-me que escolhesse 3 perucas e que lhes enviasse os links e os meus dados através de email. Assim o fiz. 

    Inicialmente houve um problema com a morada, tive que a simplificar o máximo possível para que se encaixasse nos padrões americanos. Nada de novo, pois não é a primeira vez que me acontece. Após a correção da morada, enviaram-me um tracking number, ao qual muito agradeci, uma vez que tenho sempre medo que estes pacotes se extraviem. 

    Para minha surpresa, algumas semanas depois, recebo uma carta da alfândega pedindo-me para de desalfandegar uma encomenda vinda dos EUA. Supostamente, este tipo de pacotes deve ser enviado com um baixo valor declarado ou como presente. Todas as lentes que tenho recebido foram enviadas dessas formas e nunca tive nenhum questionamento vindo da alfândega. Pensando ser o suficiente, pedi uma fatura pro-forma à nunique_you com um limite de 22 euros. Felizmente, não tiveram qualquer problema em enviar-me a fatura. Contudo, não foi o suficiente para a alfândega e tive que me safar doutra forma. 

    Quando o pacote chegou, eu fiquei estupefacta com o facto de a loja ter declarado o valor total os produtos. Assim tornava-se óbvio o porque de o pacote ter sido parado para averiguação alfandegária e pagamento de taxas. Se eu não tivesse arranjado maneira de não pagar as taxas, o que eu teria pago, seria praticamente o mesmo valor total que as três perucas representam. Este foi o primeiro grande problema.

    O segundo grande problema começa logo quando abro o pacote: os produtos recebidos em nada se comparam com aquilo que vi no site. A peruca azul e a peruca ruiva são denominadas como produtos de Halloween, mas quem as vê no site não diz que elas se tratam das básicas perucas que se usa no Halloween ou no Carnaval, por isso mesmo as escolhi. Só que realmente elas tratam-se dessas perucas básicas, baratas, com péssima fibra e brilhantes que se usam nessas épocas. A peruca loira, uma lace front, não é exatamente uma lace front, pelo menos em nada se compara com as que tenho. Parece-me somente que colocaram a lace numa peruca normal. Esta foi a principal razão pela qual eu demorei tanto tempo para fazer este review.

    Quando recebo algo de uma loja/empresa, eu quero sempre fazer o meu melhor e escrever o mais positivo possível, sem fugir à verdade, sobre aquilo que receber. Mas imaginem que, ao invés de eu ter recebido os produtos de forma gratuita (bom, quase que não foi…), eu era um cliente. Eu ter-me-ia sentido enganada. Aliás, eu senti-me enganada, mesmo não tendo adquirido os produtos como uma cliente. Então, eu simplesmente não queria vir aqui e dizer isto tudo, desencorajando-vos a não comprar na loja. Só que, apesar de eu demorar a vos trazer os reviews, eu trago-os sempre, mesmo eles sendo bons ou maus. 

    Infelizmente, esta minha experiência não teve nada de positivo. A peruca azul é extremamente brilhante, apesar de volumosa e macia. Contudo, não tem nada a ver com o que está no site. A que está no site não é brilhante e nem apresenta nenhuma fibra prateada como aquela que eu recebi. Além disso, a trança é colada, ou melhor, mal colada e pior ainda, com cola quente. Se a peruca tivesse somente a mistura de azuis na fibra teria sido mais simples tentar retirar-lhe o brilho. Só que, com a existência da fibra prateada, muito dificilmente o brilho irá desaparecer. Então, nem tentei.

    Como gostei muito da peruca ruiva, tentei recuperá-la e dar-lhe uma nova cara. Não resultou. Por incrível que pareça, esta peruca já me parecia ter sido usada, nem que fosse para exposição. Além da fibra brilhante, as pontas estavam extremamente secas, quase que não as conseguia pentear. Após fazer alguma pesquisa, perguntei então à @chibicake_cosplay qual o melhor tratamento que lhe podia dar. Deixei-a em amaciador da roupa puro, sem misturar água, durante uma semana e depois de seca coloquei-lhe um pouco de pó de talco para retirar ainda mais o brilho. Nada resultou. 

    Sentindo-me desesperançada e já sem soluções, expus a situação à loja via Instagram, pedindo também algumas ideias para melhorar aquelas perucas. Afinal, os produtos são deles, conhecem-nos melhor como ninguém. Fiquei sem resposta, fui totalmente ignorada, pois a mensagem foi vista e ninguém me respondeu. Sendo assim, a única peruca decente que sobrou foi a loira, a suposta lace front, que nunca cheguei a usar, porque penso que nenhum look que criei entretanto se encaixou.

    Mais uma vez devo dizer que eu tenho a consciência de que demorei muito tempo para vos trazer este review, mas eu simplesmente não queria vir aqui e dizer-vos para não comprarem nesta loja, devido ao sentimento com que fiquei na época. Fiquei com a ideia de que tudo o que a loja vendia era “publicidade enganosa”, pois adquiríamos uma coisa e chegava outra completamente diferente. Após ter estado todo este tempo a seguir a loja, posso recomendar-vos a coleção de perucas básicas adequadas para cosplay que são vendidas numa grande variedade de cores e comprimentos. Digo isto, pois já vi reviews e fotos tiradas por clientes e parecem-me ser boas perucas. O preço das mesmas não me parece ser desadequado para a sua qualidade. O mesmo já não posso dizer daqueles que recebi. Nem mesmo a lace front vale o valor que um cliente paga por ela.

    Talvez os produtos que vos fala já nem existam na loja, mas aqui fica a minha opinião na mesma. Espero que tenha sido útil de alguma forma.

    Hello guys! Today I am going to tell you about my experience with a wig store located in the US from which I received some products at the end of 2019. There are some reasons why I took so long to do this review. I hope you understand.

    While on Instagram, I discovered nunique_you. After some time, I decided to contact them wanting to know if they would be interested in a collaboration. I promptly a positive answer, they asked me to choose 3 wigs and send them the links and my data via email. So I did.

Initially there was a problem with the address, I had to simplify it as much as possible to fit US standards. Nothing new, as this isn’t the first time that it has happened to me. After correcting the address, they sent me a tracking number, to which I was very grateful, since I’m always afraid that these packages will be lost.

    To my surprise, a few weeks later, I received a letter from customs asking me to clear a parcel from the US. Supposedly, this type of package must be sent with a low declared value or as a gift. All the lenses I have received have been sent in these ways and I have never had any inquiries from customs. Thinking it was enough, I asked for a pro forma invoice from nunique_you with a limit of 22 euros. Fortunately, they had no problem sending me the invoice. However, it was not enough for customs and I had to find other way to clear the package without having to pay taxes.

    When the package arrived, I was surprised that the store declared the total value of the products. So it became obvious why the package had been stopped for customs investigation and taxes’ payment. If I hadn’t found a way to not pay the taxes, what I would have paid, it would be basically the same total amount that the three wigs represent. This was the first major problem.

    The second big problem starts right away when I open the package: the products received are nothing compared to what I saw on the website. The blue wig and the red wig are called Halloween products, but whoever sees them on the website doesn’t say that they are the basic wigs that are used on Halloween or Carnival, that's why I chose them. It’s just that they are really those basic wigs, cheap, with bad fiber and shiny that are used in those times. The blonde wig, a lace front, is not exactly a lace front, at least nothing compares with the ones I have. It just seems to me that they put the lace on a normal wig. This was the main reason why it took me so long to do this review.

    When I receive something from a store / company, I always want to do my best and write as positive as possible, without hiding the truth, about what I receive. But imagine that, instead of having received the products for free (well, it almost wasn't...), I was a customer. I would have felt cheated. In fact, I felt cheated, even though I didn't buy the products as a customer. So, I just didn't want to come here and say all of this, discouraging you from buying at the store. Although it takes me a long time to bring you the reviews, I always bring them, even if they are good or bad.

    Unfortunately, this experience of mine wasn’t positive. The blue wig is extremely shiny, although it’s soft and it has a lot of hair. However, it has nothing to do with what is on the site. The one on the website is not shiny and does not have any silver fibers like the one I received. In addition, the braid is glued, or better, poorly glued and worse, with hot glue. If the wig had only the blue mixture in the fiber it would have been simpler to try to remove the shine. With the existence of the silver fiber, the shine will hardly disappear. So, I didn't even try.

    As I really liked the red wig, I tried to recover it and give it a new face. It didn’t work. Incredibly, this wig already seemed to have been used, even if it was just for exhibition. In addition to the shiny fiber, the ends were extremely dry, I almost couldn't comb them. After doing some research, I asked @chibicake_cosplay what would be the best treatment I could give it. I left it in pure fabric softener, without mixing water, for a week and after drying I put a little talcum powder to further remove the shine. Nothing worked.

    Feeling hopeless and without solutions, I exposed the situation to the store via Instagram, also asking for some ideas to improve those wigs. After all, the products are theirs, they know them better than anyone. I was left without an answer, I was totally ignored, because the message was seen and nobody answered me. So, the only decent wig left was the blonde, the supposed lace front, which I never got to wear, because I think that no look I created meanwhile fit.

    Once again I must say that I am aware that it took me a long time to bring you this review, but I just didn't want to come here and say “Don’t to buy from this store!”, due to the feeling I was left with at the time. I got the idea that everything that the store sold was “deceptive advertising”, as we acquired one thing and arrived a completely different one. After spending all this time following the store, I can recommend you the collection of basic cosplay wigs that are sold in a wide variety of colors and lengths. I say this, because I have seen reviews and photos taken by customers and they seem to be good wigs. The price of them doesn’t seem to me to be inappropriate for their quality. I can no longer say the same about those I received. Not even the lace front is worth the amount a customer pays for it.

    Perhaps the products I’m talking about don't even exist in the store, but here is my opinion. I hope it was useful in some way.
